Odd Tangerine Studio —
A studio drawn to the city
Flat colour, real streets
Odd Tangerine Studio is a one-room illustration practice making bold, geometric pictures of ordinary places — the walk home, the night bus, the corner shop in October.
Every piece starts outside with a sketchbook and ends on screen as layered vector shapes: no gradients for decoration, no texture for hiding. Just confident planes of colour, heavy shadows and one small warm detail — a lit window, a red dot, a sliver of sun — that tells you someone lives there.
The studio works with editors, publishers, small brands and design teams on covers, campaigns, murals and picture books. Commissions open twice a year, in spring and autumn.
